How do I order?

We have a very simple ordering process and all orders are taken via our website.

Check your files are set to the correct size/ dimensions to fill the area you wish to print

  • Upload the files.
  • Pick Product, size and Quantity.
  • Enter Your delivery and contact details.
  • Click the Agree Terms check box then Click the Pay Button, You can pay via Paypal or a debit/credit card

confirm order (this is the last chance you have to change the delivery address details.)

Do I receive a proof before you start printing?

No, If you require a proof copy please use our online designer to upload your file for printing.

Alternatively please see our file preparation guide on setting up your design.

What type of files do you accept?

We accept all of the following:

  • PDF
  • .JPG (.JPE, .JPEG)
  • .TIF (.TIFF)

We DO NOT accept: MS Word** Quark Express** Indesign**
**-Owing to the complexities and extra cost involved in doing work from these file formats we do not
accept these for work over the web.

Can I print full bleed?

Yes, you must enter in your dimensions using the custom size function on the order page.

For standard A sized printing we can achieve our incredible low prices by allowing the printer to do all the work for us.
This means that there is always a thin white border (3mm-5mm) around each edge of your prints.

If you require full bleed print enter the dimensions as custom size order.

Full bleed prints require time consuming trimming and use more paper, that's why the cost is slightly higher for
custom sized printing.

Maximum Size Prints Bleed have to fall within an A0 print area for Flyposter and Premium Poster Printing.

Do You Supply Any Templates?

No, Watch this space as we will supply some soon.

If I send my files to print, how long will it take?

This is dependant on which product or products you order, since some products are more complicated than others to produce.

For specific product turnaround times, please check the prices page and look in description for turnaround on each product.

  • Paper, Flyposter,Photo and A3 Lasers - Next working day delivery if uploaded before 12pm (except on larger orders)
  • All other products have a 3-6 day turnaround time.

note: that turnaround time means time before we dispatch from our premises.

How is my order delivered?

Your order will be delivered in the UK by Citylink. You will receive an email with your tracking reference number on the night your order has been shipped.

For all completed orders we dispatch on a next working day delivery as standard. You can check the progress of your order by going to the Couriors website and entering the first six digits of your Zip order number. eg ZIP00***

Can you deliver on weekends?

As standard all products will be delivered between Monday-Friday.

However we can arrange a Saturday delivery or a weekday AM/PM , Pre 10am, Pre 9am for an extra delivery charge.

Do I have to pay VAT?

All products will be subject to a charge of 20%. All invoices can be downloaded once your order has been completed.
An email will be sent with a link.

What happens if I am unable to find the size/product I want?

Visit our 'Contact us' page and send us an email letting us know what exactly you need. If we can print your request, we will get back to you straight away to arrange your order. If not, we will add your request to our list of suggested product enhancements.

What are "print ready" files?

For information on preparing your file for print please view our Artwork Guidlines PDF to ensure
that you upload your image correctly to avoid delay and get the best results.


Can you guarantee a colour match on different products?

No, if you are requiring an exact colour match you would be better ordering multiple sizes from the same product.

What is CMYK?

CMYK colour mode is used for files intended for print. It stands for the four inks used in the full colour process: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The "K" stands for key rather than black.

What is RGB?

RGB colour mode is used for display on electronic systems, such as computer monitors. It stands for Red, Green, and Blue.
The RGB colour model is an additive model in which the colours are added together in different ways to produce a
wide array of colours.

Can I order by telephone?

No, all our orders are taken via our website.
If you are having problems ordering, please call us on 0207 556 3656 and one of the
Zip Team will guide you through the process.

What if I miss delivery of my goods?

Our courier will leave you a calling card to let you know they have tried to deliver. Please contact the courier on the number provided on the card to re-arrange delivery of your goods, or check the link on the tracking email that was sent using the
first 6 digits of your reference number ZIP00***.

Is your packaging branded in any way?

Our products will come with a small Zip-Posters sticker which can be easily removed, without damaging the packaging and a delivery note of goods with the order.

If you would like your order to be sent out without branding, please drop us an email after uploading your job with ZIP reference number.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use PayPal to process all our transactions.

You can pay using your existing PayPal account or by filling in your card details on the paypal site.

To send us money use our accounts@zip-posters.co.uk to send money through PayPal.PayPal accept all major credit cards.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, frequently. For current offers and discounts, please visit our "Facebook offers" page. Additionally, we sometimes
send out emails with special offers to our customers.

We will ensure that you do not receive these emails too often, and that you are easily able to opt-out of these
emails whenever you want.

"Refer-a-Friend" Offer - Recommend us to a friend through or free printing promotion and if that friend places an order with us you will receive £10 voucher towards your next order.

Which printing method do you use?

We use Digital printing Machines, please see product descriptions for more details.

What happens if my delivery does not arrive?

Should your order not arrive on the day it was due to be delivered, Please follow "how to track my order" to see details of your delivery if you feel you need more help or information please get in touch with one of our Zip-Team members via our Contact Us page.

Can I change my delivery address after I have placed my order?

Please ensure you enter your details correctly before submitting, at the end of the ordering process you have the option to change the delivery address from the one stored on PayPal. In special circumstances, it may be possible to change the delivery address depending on where your order is in production. If your order has already been dispatched this could incur extra charges or a delay in delivery.
